FOUR COMPOSITIONS FOR PROTOTYPE HALLDOROPHONE AND SECOND INSTRUMENT

As a part of the Sound Fields exhibition four composers are presenting short compositions for (prototype) halldorophone#7 and another instrument.
List of composers and second instruments-
Áki Ásgeirsson. Prepared trombone played by Ingi Garðar Erlendsson.
Hafdís Bjarnadóttir. Accordion played by Paula Engel (DE).
Hallvarður Ásgeirsson. Grand piano played by Tinna Þorsteinsdóttir.
Jesper Pedersen. Electric harp played by Katie Buckley.
Our halldorophone player for the event is Sandra Ósk Snæbjörnsdóttir, cellist and geologist.
The commissioning of the pieces was made possible by a grant of Icelandic national radio composers fund (Tónskáldasjóður RÚV).
